Enrollment Calendar for 2010-2011

New Student Applications (Open all year)

Applications for enrollment are accepted at any time.  All applications will receive a written response which will indicate the status of the application.  Given various factors, such as the class size and the educational profile of the candidate, a place may be offered immediately.  In some cases the school will need to wait for the re-enrollment deadlines to pass before being able to determine availability.  It is always advisable to send in applications early.

Re-enrollment of Current Students (Deadline January 29)

Re-enrollment forms will be sent out before the winter break.  We have set January 30th as the deadline for obtaining the 5% Returning Family Discount. After this date, enrollment will be open to siblings and then new students. This is an important deadline as we anticipate certain classes being over-subscribed.

Enrollment of Siblings (Get applications forms in by February 5)

Parents wishing to enroll their children who are not already attending GAIS must fill in an application form available from the office or downloadable from our website. The normal application fee of $50 does not apply for families already at the school. We urge you to do this as soon as possible and certainly by February 5th. After we have assigned places to students re-enrolling, we will offer available places to siblings that have applied. Once you have been assigned a place you will then be asked to complete the enrollment contract. There is an enrollment fee of $500.

Enrollment of Other Students (Open after February 8)

Naturally we also welcome the enrollment of new families to the school. Once the deadline for re-enrollment of current students and enrollment of siblings has passed, we will assign free places to new families that have sent in application forms.
