The preschool has multi-age class groupings of children from 3 to 5 years of age. No prior knowledge of German is required for the preschool, though it is beneficial. The German language immersion nature of the Preschool program gives students a solid linguistic foundation for transitioning into the regular GAIS academic program. As such, priority is given to families intending to enroll their children into the Elementary school program. In the best interest of our children, we also review applications with an eye to maintaining a balance between language, gender and age.

All children enrolled in our program must be potty-trained. They should also have a certain degree of independence (e.g., be able to change clothes, have some prior experience playing with other children in a group). When you have made your decision to enroll you child at our school you will fill out the application form and send it to the school with a $50 application fee. The school will inform you of the status of your application in writing. Once you have been notified of acceptance, you will then fill out the enrollment contract, pay the $500 annual fee and tuition deposit. At this point your child has a confirmed place in the school. Before attending school a series of forms and health records will need to be submitted to the school office.
