Happy Birthday, GAIS

This year’s Summer Fest takes place on Saturday June 13. We will celebrate our school's 20th birthday. You are cordially invited to join us for this festive event.

Food & Drink: Esther’s Bakery will be on hand for food and baked goods. In addition to the grilled sausages they will also have grilled chicken breast in a roll, sauerkraut, cucumber and tomato salad, grilled Portobello mushrooms and tomatoes in a bun and grilled herbed cheese in a bun. Various drinks will also be available for purchase.

Games: All games will take place in the Preschool garden right after the performance. Students can purchase a wrist band for $5 which will allow them to play all games. Each game will have a ticket system and students can cash in tickets for prizes. The wrist bands will be sold at the Sommerfest starting at 2:00 pm, and to avoid long line ups on Saturday, they will be sold at the school on Thursday and Friday. We recommend that you get them on those days.

Activities: Besides the games in the Preschool, there will be activities offered for the older children. These include t-shirt painting and a climbing wall. All these activities are open to children who wear our wrist band..

Performance: The performance will start at 2:30.

Soccer Game: A friendly soccer game will organized at 5:00 for students and parents.

Parking: GAIS parking lot with overflow on school playground. Parent volunteers will direct the parking and traffic. AS the school parking facilities will probably not be sufficient for all the cars expected, you may have to look for street parking. Please factor in the extra time for this.
