As part of the school’s on-going focus on academic excellence we, we are pleased to announce the creation of a new administrative position which will focus on curriculum, assessment and program evaluation.

Our new Director of Academic Programs is Dominic Liechti who comes from Bern, Switzerland. Dominic is trained in educational leadership and has served as Principal of the Buhnrain Middle School in Zurich. His prior teaching experience encompasses Grades 1-10, but with more focus on the upper grades. Dominic is also a fitness instructor, has extensive training in IT and is currently working on an MBA in school administration. One of Dominic’s first tasks will be to focus on the GAIS Middle School and lead the process of authorization for the Middle Years Program of the IB. He will relocate to California at the end of January and take up his new position on February 1st.
