Preschool Assistant (Part-time)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, fluent German-speaking Preschool Assistant for our German language Preschool Program.

You should like to:

• Enjoy working with 3-5 year old children

• Support Preschool Teachers in offering age-appropriate activities

Prior experience in early childhood development preferred.

Preschool Teacher

Duties
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, fluent German-speaking Preschool Teacher to join the growing team of our play-based, developmental German-immersion preschool. The school follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) and teachers who do not have experience in this program will be given adequate training and supervision. In addition to classroom instruction, teachers are expected to participate in supervision duties, staff meetings, parent meetings, workshops and various activities that promote the schools programs and reputation. The school operates from 8:15 to 14:00, Monday to Friday.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 24 + Child Development Units, Preschool Teaching Permit or "Erzieher/In Ausbildung"
• Bi-lingual German/ English
• Teaching Experience
• International Baccalaureate Education desirable

Contract Information

The contract is for one year and is renewable on a yearly basis by mutual agreement. The salary rage for full time teachers is from $39,000 to $56,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
